What is the plans for trash… Obviously I’m sure with like minded folks all that can be repurposed will be as able but is the county landfill far or would we have our own dump?

So to clarify, for trash that is not compostable or otherwise usable around the homestead, each family is responsible for finding a way to haul their own to the closest landfill, recycling center, etc.?

Personally, I’m planning to use all our household’s cardboard and paper waste to help attract and feed earthworms to enrich the soil.

Trash is to be separated and recycled. We have plans for a furnace to generate heat and help in the recycling.
