Naperville, Ill. – October 142020 –Uptake’s Founder and CEO, Brad Keywell to discuss the future of artificial intelligence and machine data at the National Constructech Technology Conference Days November 12-13, which will be an in person and virtual event, in Chicago, IL.

Keywell will participate in a fireside chat hosted by Peggy Smedley, president and editorial director, Specialty Publishing Media, to talk about where connected machines, data science, and prescriptive analytics, are playing a role in optimizing customers productivity, profitability, reliability, safety, and much more.

“Heavy industry is at an inflection point—the events of this year mandate immediate digitization of industrial operations, prompting the conversation of ‘how fast can we,’ rather than discussions of ‘should we.’ Improvements in productivity, reliability, and optimization of operations are immediately available once data integrity, industrial intelligence, and asset-management software are deployed. The best advanced technology is simple to understand and easy to deploy, with the clear and obvious impact of more profit and enhanced competitive vibrancy for industrial operators who take action,” says Keywell. “Now more than ever, I am honored to join Constructech to discuss this critical issue.”

Keywell is a lifelong entrepreneur and co-founder of seven technology companies, a cultural curator of innovation platforms, and a philanthropist. In addition to founding Uptake, Keywell is the co-founder of technology companies including Groupon, MediaOcean, Echo Global Logistics, and Drivin. He is chairman of Chicago Ideas, which has grown into one of the largest-innovation and ideas gatherings in the world and is the chairman of Future Founders Foundation, providing entrepreneurial education to inner-city students in the Chicagoland area.

On November 12, Smedley and Keywell will hit the ground running by electrifying attendees with a laser-focused talk on the built environment by looking at the importance of machine data including the IoT (Internet of Things), cloud, AI (artificial intelligence), 5G, machine learning, and other tools to help make sense of assets so that you can remain healthier and more productive now and into the future.

The duo will also address how innovative companies are implementing these technologies and solutions to help humanity achieve a more reliable, plentiful, safer, and more sustainable destiny when manufacturing, designing, and constructing homes, roads, bridges, buildings, utilities, stadiums, hospitals, etc.

“Brad understands that using data analytics and machine data can improve productivity and trustworthiness for industrial and construction companies around the world,” says Smedley. “He will help us all tap into a whole new level of machine insights.”
