There are many cottage industries that will benefit the communities. Such as making compressed earth block, the co-op store, the health clinic. Should OSR sponsor or fund any of these? I assume OSR will construct a health building and a co-op store. Does OSR then lease or rent the space to interested parties who will run the business aspects and earn a profit, or does OSR run the businesses and hire employees?
OSR is providing the online presence and the networking facet for the people and needed resources. Each location will endup with its own land co-operative where those families own the land together and hold a proprietary occupancy agreement for their 2 acres. The balance of the land after the land donation will make for the establishment of the 7 special support projects, such as the Academy campus, a k-12 campus, the assisted living/retirement home, the whole health/life coach clinic, the child rescue home, the young mothers home and the equine/canine therapy barn will be owned by the land co-operative. This 600 plus acres will be used to promote industry that is owned by the co-operative. The first 2 will be the local Co-op Store the second will be the RV & Camping Park. It is recommended that there be the creation of the Co-operative Construction Company and other food producing businesses all owned by the co-operative members. These secondary co-operatives can and will provide employment first to the members and if there is still a need for help non-members with the right qualifications can be hired. Much is to be determined by each Land Co-operative Membership.
