One of the keys of a successful community are the social aspects. What do we envision the community buildings to look like and function like? Will the campus building(s) we large enough to host whole community activities (which could be over 1,000 people)?
Would such a building be able to accommodate a simple stage at one end of it? I would imagine that within the community there would be a number of individuals interested in heading up various social activities, like community performances, music, dancing, etc.
I also wonder if such a building could accommodate a small, but functional kitchen for preparing community meals at various times of year.
With the donation of a portion of the land to a special support projects land development trust, one of the first building to be built when funds are available will be a 60′ x 120′ or 7,200 square foot metal building with enough room to accommodate most of residents at any one time. It is recommended that 8 square feet be allotted for each person attending a gathering.
