What about someone who builds out there and then decides they want to move, or are struggling to meet the requirements?
In order to complete your agreement, you have to build, a house, barn and greenhouse. Once you completed your agreement, you can sell that. It’s of market value rate. Whoever you sell to, has to be approved by the chairman of the board, because it has to remain with like minded people. Also in the agreement, we have in there that if you are unable to meet the requirement that you signed up for, then write and tell us what it is that you can’t do, and what you might think the repercussions are of that. If they made an effort, and they want to stay, we will pull a team together and look at that and see what we can do. We will bend over backwards for those that want to stay.
No. Juab County will allow you to live in a trailer until your home is complete, but the co-op requires the home be finished within 3 years of joining the co-op. It would be unwise to join unless you’re confident you can finish the project.
If I cash out my stoncks I can buy the share, but I don’t have enough to build a house yet and I wont be able to do so in the next three years if I cant get a loan. I could park a trailer on the land but would that count?
