Just a quick update for those interested in the Utah OSR Land Cooperative. Four of the five wells on the property now have pumps installed. The Hemp project is well underway with the first 2,000 plants transplanted into the field and doing well. There have been challenges with generators, grasshoppers, and rabbits, but all is under control.
Steve Marks, Mark Miner, and Brenda Christensen have made the Hemp project come alive and are preparing the way for next years crop and all of those that will want to participate. Tiffany Daumueller has started looking for trees to be planted on the property. These trees will be the start of our oasis gardens and greenbelt project.
In preparation for manufacturing compressed earth blocks for building, John Day has begun experimenting with our native soil mixed with cement, including stress and compression testing. All of the above and much more are all indicators that the project is well underway. It is indeed an exciting time. We hope that you can join us.
God Speed,
